Different ways to donate
NAT's vital work educating the public about HIV and championing the rights of people living with HIV can only continue with the help of our generous supporters. There are now more ways to donate than ever so whatever you can afford to give and no matter how busy you are, there's an option to suit you.
OnlineMake a secure online donation with your credit or debit card via BTMyDonate – don't forget to add Gift Aid.
Text GHIV10 and the amount you wish to donate to 70070 now and make an instant donation of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10, e.g. if you wish to donate £5 send 'GHIV10 £5' to 70070.
Once you've sent the text, you'll receive a text back confirming your donation and explaining how to add Gift Aid, meaning NAT could benefit from an extra 25% (that's an extra £2.50 if you donate £10!).
NAT will receive 100% of your donation and any Gift Aid, and anyone on any mobile network can make a donation. Your donation will be deducted from your mobile phone credit or added to your monthly phone bill and the text message will be charged at your usual network rate.
Send a cheque
Make a cheque payable to 'NAT' and post it to: NAT, New City Cloisters, 196 Old Street, London EC1V 9FR
Remember to include a note telling us who this donation is from so we can send you a thank you - and don't forget to add Gift Aid.
Over the phone
Call our fundraising team on 020 7814 6731 to make a donation over the phone by credit or debit card, or email us at email@example.com and we'll call you.
Make a regular donation
By becoming a regular supporter, you can help us plan for the future at a challenging time for the charity - and provide the security we need to deliver long term campaigns, such as better HIV education in schools and free HIV treatment for everyone in the UK who needs it.
'Give as you earn'
Ask your employer whether they operate a Give as you Earn (GAYE) scheme - this is the simplest tax-free way for individuals to donate directly to NAT. Your monthly pledge is taken from your salary before tax is deducted so money that would normally go to the taxman goes to NAT instead.
For example, if you choose to donate £5 a month to NAT via GAYE, it will only cost you £4 if you are a basic rate taxpayer, and even less if you are a higher rate taxpayer.
Ask you HR department to set this up for you and check whether they operate a matched giving scheme, meaning that your employer will match your donation pound for pound – doubling the amount you are giving to NAT.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about GAYE.
